The motor of electric chain hoist can be divided into the following four types according to its purpose:

1. Single speed motor for lifting;

2. Double speed starting motor;

3. Single speed motor for operation;

4. Two speed motor for operation.

The protection grade of motor shell shall meet the requirements of IP 54 specified in GB 4942.1 (except fan cover and brake seat).

The cooling method of motor shall comply with ic0041 or ic0141 in GB / T 1993

The installation type of motor shall comply with im3001 (IMBs), im4401 (imb9) and im5102 in GB 997
